Respecting the Childless
I have been extremely busy this week but have been dying to make a post here. About babies. I don't have one, in fact, I never have. I hear soooo much about manners involving how to treat a pregnant woman but I don't seem to hear anything about manners pregnant women should have toward the rest of society! Some people are sensitive. Yes, share your enthusiasm, it's exciting! But I insist that pregnant women should be aware of their audience and cautious of their "baby talk". It's mostly the baby talk that gets me. I feel like I could go on longer about this, but this issue has really blown me down this week. I must just leave my rant short.

I like kids and babies, but there are expecting mothers who can be too much. They act like everyone should treat them like queens. I try to be nice because I think it's the hormones doing the talking, but still.

Flckle Cattle, thank you for your comment. I really like the idea of respecting the talking hormones. If you actually can believe that, differentiate it in the moment when it's really hard, that is TRULY staying classy. And a "bravo" act. NOT easy, right?!
