I have tried everything on my lips. I don't have the greatest lips. I wish. I find that if I wear ANYTHING, it runs, or I chew it off, or it makes my lips look peely, or it just doesn't stay... and the biggest problem for ME is that they all rub off on my teeth, no matter what! But I have an amazing routine now that involves 2 products that I stand by faithfully.
I finally listened to Drew Barrymore in the Cover Girl ad for their Lip Stain. "It won't stick, it's a stain!" So I picked up a colour that I felt might suit me because I was desperate to try anything.
Its like rubbing a crayola felt marker on your lips. It goes on with precision, and you can apply it as light or as dark as you want, and it's long-lasting, so you really don't have to worry about when you're going to re-apply it next.
Next, I use a lip gloss of choice from Bath & Body Works. Their glosses feel like balms and are nice and thick, tasty, and they stay put! While it does taste nice, it stays on so nicely that my lips appear super shiny and are totally moisturized for a long period of time. The good news has just begun. There are so many colours and flavours to choose from, from tints to full color, from glitter to just gloss, and they even have peppermint and cinnamon ones that provide either no tint or slight tint to give the illusion of fresh breath. They make your lips tingle too. How cool is that?
The price is the best part. You can buy 3 tubes of lip gloss for $15!!! That's the most amazing price for such a good product.
Nobody is paying me to tell you this. Go pamper your lips!
