An Organized Christmas?

I have been reading the most amazing magazine I have ever come across and I think that every woman should know about it. "Real Simple." And probably also the best website EVER (except Google). Its motto is "Life made easier, every day." Now, I have been pleased to discover their magazine in the fall. They practically taught me how to cook (with shopping lists and simple instructions), gave me step by step instructions on how to clean my laundry room in 15 minutes flat, and pointed out basic microwave oven usage-- which I actually had phoned my own mother about only a few days prior to discovering this article! So will I be applying their Christmas tips? The Christmas issue really is brilliant... but simple life all the time is actually a lot of information to retain! ;)

Well, I don't know if I can thank Real Simple Magazine, a healthier lifestyle, a more enjoyable home I'm living in, the culture of my new city, or if it's just how things are falling together naturally, but so far, Christmas feels way more calm AND organized this year.

I'm really trying to just focus on doing things and finishing what I start and doing it all as promptly as possible. I want to have this all done soon, otherwise it will all be over before it starts. I am busy, but I also have a family and have to live in my house. So I'm really trying to focus on my perspective and take the extra few minutes to finish the little things off a bit sooner.

SUMMARY

I'm done with the decor, so that's good. By the end of the week I'd like to have 80% of my Christmas shopping done. Right now I have about 40% of it done. Tomorrow I need to have 40% of it wrapped. :)
